About IPGAP

History

In January 2005 the Indiana Prevention Resource Center at Indiana University (IPRC) expanded its mission to include information and technical assistance to Indiana organizations seeking to prevent problem gambling by children, adolescents and young adults.

Mission

To provide resources and information to raise the awareness of problem gambling in Indiana and to support the treatment and prevention efforts of the state.

Why

The IPGAP will collect resources, including journals, monographs, curricula and statistical data on the topic; review available literature and curricula; analyze local and commercial data to generate reports; conduct research leading to publications; develop and distribute educational materials; and serve as a resource for references and contact information.
